Why does filtered water taste weird?
The tap water filter is not installed appropriately, or it should be replaced. FPease reinstall it in a correct way. If there is still bad taste, please replace the filter.
How can I know it's time to replace one?
The sink water filter can work for 6 months or 4,000 gallons, whichever comes first. Of course, the actual lifespan may vary based on your local water conditions and usage conditions. There is a mechanical filter life recorder. Align the month you start to use this filter, and it will tell you when it's time to replace the filter. Just get a new one when it's time. Or if the flow rate is significantly reduced or if the water has a peculiar smell, we suggest that you replace the filter.
Why does my TDS tester show it has high TDS?
The primary function of the Waterdrop filter is not to remove TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). TDS consists mainly of inorganic salts and a small amount of organic matter. This filter is designed to eliminate harmful substances while retaining beneficial trace elements. If you are seeking physical removal of TDS, please opt for the Waterdrop RO system.
Why is the water leaking or dripping?
Check whether the selected adapter is correct or whether the adapter sealing ring and the base sealing ring are installed firmly. Flush the filter for 3-5 minutes to activate it, and then there will be no leaks or drips.
